A new way to shop in downtown Blue Ridge, gather donates 1% of every purchase, every day, to local charities in the north Georgia community with a designated charity each month. The spirit of gratitude and humility makes it imperative for gather to be a place that reflects what is best about people and helps those who are experiencing a time of struggle - both humans and animals.

The charity for the month of May 2018 is Tri State Pet Rescue

Tri State Pet Rescue is dedicated to saving homeless animals from euthanasia and educating the public about the importance of spaying and neutering their pets.   They are a volunteer only group that works tirelessly to rescue homeless animals from high-kill animal control facilities and transport them to no-kill groups who place them into approved homes.

The charity for the month of February 2018 is Project Chimps

Project Chimps was founded specifically to provide lifetime care to former research chimpanzees at its sanctuary on 236-acres of forested land in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Project Chimps reached an agreement with the biomedical research laboratory that has the largest population of privately-owned chimpanzees in the United States in order to bring the lab’s chimpanzees to Project Chimps’ sanctuary. Project Chimps has transferred many of these intelligent and sentient beings from the lab to their new homes, where they will spend the remainder of their lives.  Most of these animals have never touched the ground so to be able to provide a real life for the chimpanzees for the first time in their lives in an amazing feat for the Project Chimps team.  Project Chimps relies on donations to fulfill their mission and requires ongoing funding for the future care of the chimpanzees and habitat expansion.
